Perhaps we should be flattered by the number of people including dealers who continually infringe our IP (Intellectual Property) rights by using our copyright images, but we do not find it amusing, and will take legal action against any copyright thieves.

What's Wrong?
Quite a few things.
Eu-Agents.Com are in direct competition with us, yet have seen fit to steal our images to do so. This is not only dishonest and unethical, but slightly pathetic when we look closely:
Tripod?
John Lynch claims to supply "coin dealers,jewellers (sic) , museum shops and antique dealers around the world." Perhaps this is hyperbole, and we should not accuse him of lying, but is he and his business is such an important supplier, then why does he host his "website" on the pathetic and amateurish Tripod, In its time Tripod was probably quite a good way for ordinary individuals or families to create their own web pages without much skill, and have them hosted free. Tripod makes its money by placing adverts on all its members pages, and also, very annoyingly, using pop-up pages, which can be very persistent. In these days of low-cost web hosting and blogging, Tripod has become a near irrelevance. Even in its 1999 heyday, it was not a site or method where any serious business would host its website. It simply looks, and is, so amateurish, that it would diminish the image and credibility of any business. Tripod also offers " subscription packages (which) start at just $4.95 per month!", so its not exactly expensive to upgrade to an advert free hosted site.
Image Theft
We normally say that any proper dealer with anything like a professional profile would not be so dishonest, or stoop so low, as to source the product photographs on thier website by stealing them from a competitor, by actually, we have now said this so many times about so many competitors, some of them major companies, that we sometimes wonder whether dishonesty is the new normal. Whetever view you take, we are distlinctly unimpressed by dealers who steal our high quality photographs to use in competition against us, however big or small they are.
John Lynch's website appears to have 8 gold bullion product pages on it, of which 3 use our images, We suspect he has "borrowed" the other 5 from elsewhere, possibly also without permission. It is dishonest. We would advise any potential buyers or sellers to avoid dealing with crooks who steal images. If they will steal photogrpahs, what would they do with your money or your gold?
Factually Inaccurate
John Lynch has made a number of errors in the few pages of his site. We suspect these are due to his limited knowledge of the subject.
For example:

The Hang Seng bar appear to be labelled as a London Good Delivery bar, which it clearly is not.
- London Good Delivery Bars - 2
John Lynch states that London Good Delivery bars are called LGD bars. Perhaps, but we have never heard them called that.

Our Images
We have shown all three of our own images so that you can compare. As it happens, these are all quite old images, taken in about 2004, and we have replace 2 of them on our websites, with bigger, and better quality photographs of the same, or similar bars. Only the half tael Royal Mint Hang Seng Bank bar photograph remains on our site, because it is quite a rare size bar, we have sold the original bar, and will not rephotograoh until we happen to buy another one.
Our Opinion
We have a very low opinion of other dealers who steal our images, and use them to compete with us. It is dishonest. We could sue these people, possibly for thousands of dollars, but it costs time and money, and even though we would win and be awarded costs, we might not be able to recover the costs if the copyright thieves turned out to be impecunious or insolvent. That's why we have decided to give these crooks some free advertising our our website, something which we do not normally provide even for payment.
John Lynch's Bullion Merchants Ireland. are not only gold coin & bullion dealers, but "is a National Association of Goldsmiths Full member and as such has met the exacting standards set by the leading trade Association". As such it is surprising then to find it so careless at sourcing its own images, or so lacking in regard for fairness in its dealings with competitors.
In an industry where ethics, trust, and honesty are of paramount importance, it leads to the conclusion that we could not recommend Bramall as a reasonable alternative to us for Sheffield, Yorkshire, or east coast customers.
