The Bullion Exchange & Copyright Theft
The Bullion Exchange, actually Rocky Kerrison, (thebullionexchange.co.uk) of Orelton, Shropshire is yet another dishonest website owner / dealer who has used our copyright images without permission.
Copyright Theft is Dishonest - Can You Trust This Dealer?
Using other people's copyright images is illegal, it is dishonest, and it is unethical. Using the hard work of a fellow dealer to sell the same goods in competition with him demonstrates an extremely low standard of ethics. We would not recommend anybody to transact business with this person or company.
Who would have thought such an honest (although they do not claim this) reputable
company would resort to stealing images from their competitors?
Surprisingly, their website does not appear to have an "About Us" page, or a "Contact" page, and nowhere on the site does its owners real name or address appear.
Elsewhere on our website, we advise surfers to always look at the "About Us" pages of any website. If they are anonymous, treat them with extreme suspicion.
Their website contains 5 coin images, all of which appear toe have been sourced from other websites, including at least one of ours, a 2008 silver bullion Britannia. This appears on 3 of the 8 pages on The Bullion Exchange's website, namely its home or index page, its silver bullion page, and its silver Britannia page, which we reproduce along with our own photograph.

It is dishonest and unethical to pirate and steal other people's work by using high quality copyright photographs without the owner's consent. To do so in competition with them is doubly devious. We can partially understand why they do it; it is quick and easy (but then so is robbing people).
In this case Rocky Kerrison, owner of "The Bullion Exchange" could not be bothered to take the time and trouble of photographing a silver Britannia, or any other coins, themselves, or paying a professional photographer to do it for them, so they decided it was quicker and easier to steal ours instead. If you compare our photograph with others on their website, you can easily see why they used ours! They probably also thought we would not notice.
For these reasons, we conclude that Rocky Kerrison, and the The Bullion Exchange are dishonest and unethical, and we recommend anybody to avoid doing business with them. If they will cheat us by stealing our photographs, what would they do to you for your gold or silver coins or your money?
The Bullion Exchange states:
Britannia coin specifications
Dates: 2007 - present
Mint: Royal Mint
Weight: 31.135 grams
Composition: 99.9% silver
Silver Content: 1 troy ounce
Actually, silver Britannias have been issued since 1997, so our friend Rocky Kerrison is wrong again. If he had bothered to read the pages of our website whence he stole his image, he would have learnt something about silver Britannias, instead of just pretending to know.
When we tried to look where Rocky Kerrison lives, we failed to find any place called Orelton in Shropshire, however we did find Orleton in Shropshire, with the same postcode SY8 4JE. It appears Rocky Kerrison does not even know where he lives. We wonder if he got his own name right?

We already have a page naming and shaming dealers using our images without permission. It's time we did the same for eBay, although if we include them all, this could be a very long page.
