1968 Gold Coins

1968 Sovereigns
Full sovereigns were issued in 1968, in an ordinary uncirculated version. We have details of these on our Gold Sovereigns website.
Krugerrands
One ounce Krugerrands were issued in 1968. It is an early date, as Krugers only began in 1967, so we may not have it in stock, but occasionally we may have them available. Take a look at our Krugerrands For Sale page, or better still at our Krugerrands by Date page.
The fractional sizes of Krugerrand, half ounce, quarter ounce and tenth ounce were not introduced until 1980.
Colombia
In 1968, Colombia issued a 300 pesos gold coin.
Swaziland
In 1968, Swaziland issued a one lilangeni to commemorate their independence.
