Better known as William II, Duke of Bavaria. The reign of William VI saw a relative lull in the fight between the Hook and Cod factions during the Hook and Cod Wars (1350-1490) however, upon William VI's death in 1417 from a dog bite, fighting broke out once again as William VI's daughter Jacqueline and his brother John the Pitiless contended with each other for the County of Holland.
