How To Buy Silver ( & Copyright Theft
How To Buy Silver ( is yet another dishonest dealer / website owner who has used our copyright images without permission.
Wordpress makes it easy for idiots, crooks, and ignorami to set up web sites and pages, while appearing to appear cool, knowledgeable, and expert.
One example is the sample page we reproduce here, by Lourdes Pelotte. He has stolen our high quality photograph of the reverse of an 1894 USA Gold Ten Dollar Eagle Coin.

Copyright Theft is Dishonest - Can You Trust This Dealer?
Using other people's copyright images is illegal, it is dishonest, and it is unethical. Using the hard work of a fellow dealer to sell the same goods in competition with him demonstrates an extremely low standard of ethics. We would not recommend anybody to transact business with this person or company.

Gold Coin Collecting
July 9, 2010By
Gold Coin Collecting is an old custom that dates back to the old days. Gold coins were one of the oldest forms of money and This was later followed by silver coins. Gold coins were in circulation in the United States from 1838 to 1933. The design was the Liberty Head bust but this was only made until 1907. The design was then changed to the Indian Head and Saint Gaudens motifs and was used until 1933 when the Great Depression began.
Gold Coin Collecting
The most expensive gold coin ever bought was worth around eight million dollars. This was the American 1933 Gold Eagle, Since these are no longer in circulation, the price for one of this rare commodity is extremely high. This is why the collecting of gold coins deserves to be called the hobby of kings. A lot of people retain gold today as an investment because they speculate that the demand will cause its market value to increase. Others hold it as a form of insurance should the financial situation become worse. There was a point in time when the more paper money that was made, the higher the price of gold which maintained gold and cash as equal value. After this standard ended in 1971, this enabled government to produce more paper currency without increasing the price of gold.
South Africa minted its first gold coin called the Krugerrand in 1967. This coin has no face value but merely stands as a symbol. It is made of 1 ounce of gold and can be purchased for investment purposes.
Since then other countries also minted bullion coins. Canada made the Gold Maple Leaf in 1979 and Australia made the Nugget in 1981. These two are much more popular than the South African coin because of its 24 carat purity.
today Gold Coin Collecting still a hobby that many people enjoy. One of the most precious and most expensive collections that anyone can have are those of gold coins. Gold is now used for other things such as jewelry or bullion bars that people retain as an investment and Since gold coins can not longer be used to purchase merchandise most coin collectors just keep them to remember that people once used them.

What's Wrong?
You would think that the owner and author of a website called "Silver Bullion Bars Silver Bullion Bar, would know how to spell the word silver, but he clearly does not, as he has spelled it "silver" above! At this point, we could probably rest our case.
Using the work of other people to pass off as your own is dishonest. We can identify at several of our photos on How To Buy Silver's website. On their "Gold Coin Collecting" page they are using our 1984 USA Gold Ten Dollar Eagle Reverse photograph.

Our Opinion
How To Buy Silver is yet another worthless pseudo-expert websites, set up as an advert farm, with little or no original content, no citations, not authorship statement, no contact us or about us page.
The anonymous author and owner appears to be so ashamed of his lack of knowledge that he avoids publishing his name or contact details on his website, although perhaps this is to avoid tax or some other similar reason.
His "About" page states:

This is an example of a WordPress page, you could edit this to put information about yourself or your site so readers know where you are coming from. You can create as many pages like this one or sub-pages as you like and manage all of your content inside of WordPress.
The lazy git has not even got round to filling in the blanks on this page, or disabling the links to it.

Copyright - Innocent Infringement?
There is apparently such a thing as "innocent copyright infringement), however we believe that it is extremely rare. If people do not realise it is wrong, this is possibly because they prefer and choose to remain ignorant.
In any case, this particular infringer has a copyright notice on each page of his website stating "Copyright 2010 Silver Bullion Bars. All Rights Reserved."
