Copyright Theft
Perhaps we should be flattered by the number of people including dealers who continually infringe our IP (Intellectual Property) rights by using our copyright images, but we do not find it amusing, and will take legal action against any copyright thieves.

Gold Coin Advice
Gold Coin Advice (goldcoinadvice.com) anonymous (chris gman?) via WhoisGuard, are just one of the many coin websites worldwide who commit copyright theft by using our copyright images without our permission. On their Gold Krugerrands - A Guide page, which we reproduce here, they are clearly using our Krugerrand reverse image.
We also reproduce their "Gold Sovereigns page which also uses two of our high quality copyright photographs. In this case, Gold Coin Advice have probably not stolen the image directly from us, but via one of the hundreds of other sites similar to Gold Coin Advice which not only give bad advice, but steal whatever images they like.
Gold Coin Advice are not dealers, so we are more restrained in our thoughts about them. It does appear to us, however, that the site is unlikely to be run purely for the benefit of the public, and it is clear that it is financed by income from advertising, links, sponsorship, or similar, in which case, it is a commercial site.
We can find no acknowledgement or credit for the photographs which have been used on the site.
As the site promotes other dealers, via advertising and other links, we consider that our photographs are being used in an unfair commercial manner, to the benefit of the site owners and its advertisers, other sponsors, and possible by its named contributors.

Gold Krugerrands - A Guide

South African Krugerrands have been gaining in popularity and for good reason.
pristine south african krugerrand (sic)
They weigh 1 oz (no they don't) and the value is in its gold weight rather than historic or collectors (sic) value. This makes it a very easy way to collect highly portable gold with out (sic) having to study the history of coins.
If you are buying purely for the value of gold you need to look for bullion grade coins (no you don't). The best value is in the 1oz pure (they are not pure) krugerrands (sic). Half varities (sic) do exist and these are still good just not as good value as the full or 1oz versions (it depends how much you pay for them, stupid). Be wary of imitation krugerrands (be even warier of imitation experts). Any date is worth the same (not necessarily) with very little extra paid for pristine mint condition pieces – do bear in mind however that this makes them very susceptable (sic) to fluctutations (sic) in the price of gold.

What's Wrong

Gold Coin Investment Advice
If you want advice about investing in gold coins, we have a number of pages on this site which will provide exactly what you want, without dubious advice and advertising. Use the above link.

Avoid Dubious Advice from Ignorami
If you see a website offering advice, check to see whether you can find out quickly and easily who is giving the advice, and what experience or qualifications they have to give the advice.
"Gold Coin Advice" fails to identify the site owner or the author of its pages. You should therefore avoid it for this reason alone, but there are more reasons.
Much of the advice and information given on Gold Coin Advice is wrong (although sometimes it is almost right, which means it is wrong).

Gold Coin Advice Twitter Blog
We are aware of a twit (is this the correct term for a twitter contributor?) called goldcoinadvice who uses the same stolen Krugerrand reverse photograph, who appears to call himself "chris gman".
As at least one of the Gold Coin Advice pages was contributed by "chris", also with a lower case "c", we guess there may be a direct connection.
