2012 Gold Proof Two Pound Coin
For 2012, the United Kingdom Royal Mint have issued a gold proof two pound coin commemorating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens.
The base metal, and silver proof versions of these coins will be issued in December 2011. Gold proof versions will be announced and released during 2012. Watch this page for further details.

The obverse features the fourth of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank Broadley, FRBS, FSNAD, whose initials IRB appear under the head, with the inscription:
