The 3 coin sets consist of a sovereign, half sovereign and double sovereign or two pound piece.St. George & Dragon ReverseIn 2002, being Golden Jubilee year, the sovereign series all had a special shield design, for 2003, they reverted to the traditional St. George and dragon design, except that the three coin sets contain the commemorative two pound coin, as noted below.Issue LimitsFor 2001, the issue limit was only 1,500. The issue limits for 2002 were increased considerably to 5,000 because of the Golden Jubilee celebrations. For 2003 the issue limit is only 2,500.Design NewsIn previous years the 3 coin and 4 coin sovereign collections have usually contained all coins of the same design, however in a number of years, the two pound coin included with the sets has been the commemorative version instead. For 2003, there is a change. The three coin sets contain the commemorative two pound, while the four coin sets contain the St. George and Dragon version.Specifications
