1911 George V British Gold £2 Coins
Although George V aceeded to the British throne on 6th May 1910, the first year of his coinage was 1911. Gold two pound coins (double sovereigns) were issued in proof versions, as part of 12-coin sets. The mintage figure was much lower than that for Edward VII in 1902.

The 1911gold two pounds was only issued in a proof version, and was only available as part of the "long" gold proof set, the "short" set being only from the sovereign downwards.
