END OF WW2- ST PAULS CATHEDRAL- 2 POUND COIN - RARE

2005 WWII Gold Proof Two Pounds
Since 1986. the Royal Mint has issued two pound coins, both for circulation and as commemorative versions for collectors.
In 2005, as the latest in this series of £2 coins, the Royal Mint has produced a design commemorating the sixtieth anniversary of the end of the Second World war in 1945. It features a magnificent view of St. Paul's Cathedral

According to the Royal Mint
Celebrating the end of the Second World War, this fabulous bi-colour gold coin bears on the reverse a beautiful picture of St Paul's Cathedral, the great church that survived the Blitz to become a great symbol of hope to the war-torn nation. Floodlit, in joyous contrast to the years of blackout, its awe-inspiring and beautifully detailed architecture is faithfully reproduced in stunning in Proof quality. Its edge inscription bears the emotive words - IN VICTORY: MAGNANIMITY, IN PEACE: GOODWILL, part of the famous maxim that prefaces Churchill's history of the Second World War.
Struck in both yellow and red 22 carat gold, the coin comes in a handsome presentation case of green leather with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity guaranteeing its provenance and its strict issue limit of just 1,750* individual pieces.
*The UK Gold Proof £2 Coin has been taken from its overall issue limit of 3,500.

What's Wrong?
We invest a great deal of time, effort, and cost into creating some of the best photographic coin images on the internet. We strongly object when lazy and dishonest people decide to use them without a by your leave or thanks, doing so in competition with us.
Copyright theft is dishonest. We recommend you avoid doing business with dishonest dealers.
This particular eBay seller not only stole our image of the obverse of a 2005 gold proof £2, he used it to sell his own coin on eBay. He did not seem to think it was worth mentioning to potential buyers that the high quality photographs of near mint condition coins were not his own photographs, and not the same coins as he was offering for sale. This is almost certainly illegal in the UK under the Trade Description Act, although it appears to happen on a daily basis on eBay.
It's possible he is ignorant of such fine points, or just plain ignorant.

It is always possible, even likely, that sellers who steal photographs do not own a similar coin, and have the intention to totally defraud potential buyers.
The vendor is not only cheating us by stealing our copyright images, he is fraudulently or ignorantly misleading and deceiving all potential buyers. Gaining pecuniary advantage by deception is the definition of fraud.

Price
The seller was asking a Buy It Now (B.I.N.) price of £199 for his coin,
We offer the same date of coin for the same or less, without the hassle of eBay, and without having to deal with some crook from Greece, and without having to use the infamously insecure PayPal (owned by eBay).
