Start With Gold, Capital Gold Group of Woodland Hills California, (startwithgold.com) have used our high quality Swiss 1947 Gold Vreneli 20 Francs Obverse & Obverse Photographs on their website.
We invest a great amount of time and energy into creating the best photographic coin images on the internet. It helps to promote our "brand", and many people recognise our photographs because of their high quality and other recognisable characteristics.
When other dealers or pseudo-experts use them to help create their own website, it dilutes our brand identity. It may also help to fool reader that the website they are looking at is one with high professional and aesthetic standards. Often the reality is that they are looking at some cheapo, hacked-out ad farm, written by ignorami.

Details
All Vreneli Swiss 20 Francs were minted in the country's lone mint facility located in Bern and are composed of 90% gold. In 1879, 29 known pieces were struck with bright Valaisan gold from Gondo. These gold coins are distinguished with a small cross punched in the center of the Swiss cross on the reverse.
"Vreneli" and "Swiss Miss" are nicknames for the Swiss Helvetia Head legal tender gold bullion coin. The Swiss 20 Franc Vreneli is a superb bullion choice, a tangible emblem of the steadfast reputation of its mother country. Switzerland backs its currency with huge quantities of gold and is renowned as a champion of fiscal strength and stability.
Dumb Captions
Even the captions which CGG have chosen to use on our photos are very amateurish and dumbed down. They have labelled the obverse photo as "Front of Coin", and the reverse as "Back of Coin". Whether this is because CGG are ignorant about numismatic terms, or whether they are actually very smart, but realise their customers are the stupid ones, we do not know, perhaps it's both.
If it gives any clue, the captions on their gold bars photos also state "Front of Coin", and "Back of Coin"!

On 27th June 2015, we received an e-mail which we guess related to this page, although it failed to explicitly state this:

Perhaps you failed to realize that the individual who owns startwithgold.com is British. Your site is defamatory and he will be in the UK on Monday to file a suit against you. The UK has internet defamation laws.

This e-mail was semi-anonymous, and fails to state which page of which of our websites it alleges to be defamatory. It also fails to state why the writer believes uour site is defamatory, who the "owner" is, or to give any further cluse about his UK address or contact details. We could not, and still cannot foind this information on their website, which does not entirely surprise us.
Empty Threats
This is not the first time a copyright abuser has threatened us with legal action for defamation, indeed for many it appears that aggression and counter-attack are the prime response, rather than to address the cause of the problem. We would be more impressed if copyright infringers removed the infringing items, and apologised for the abuse.
None of the hundreds of legal threats have ever materialised, presumably because they are primarily bluff, but possibly because if the infringer gets around to taking legal advice, any decent lawyer would tell him that he was on a loser from the start.
So, we should say "Go ahead, make my day!"
