Coins and Gold are "Green"
Although precious metals require energy to mine and process, once they have been processed into their final forms, they are substantially "green", in that when they wear out, go out of fashion, or simply change hands, they are not ploughed into expensive landfill sites. Because they retain a high intrinsic value, they tend to get recycled, and this applies to damaged and worn out jewellery, worn out coins, and more. Other items such as commemorative coins and medallions often get recycled though dealers like ourselves, who buy them, hold them in stock, and try to re-market them to other interested parties.

If you have a large quantity of gold coins to sell, we will accept your instructions on price, or offer you helpful advice on selling. We are one of the longest established and largest gold buyers in Britain.
One of our competitors told us that for security reasons they will not buy more than 20 Krugerrands at one time, and not buy any more until they have disposed of them.
