What's wrong with this leaflet?

• Gold is at a Record High (repeated 14 times)
  This is absolute rubbish. The price of gold went over $1,000 over ounce in March 2008, over a year ago! In fact, it first went over $900 per ounce in January 2008, and has been over $900 for 13 of the past 16 months.
  Our advice to H & J would be "If you don't know what you are talking about, keep your mouth shut". They are either ignorant about gold prices, or are lying to, and trying to deceive or bullshit their potential customers.

• Pot of Gold Found!
  A news style headline, and an advert layout used to create the impression, amongst the gullible, that the advert is in fact a news item. Modern media standards ensure that such adverts have to state "Advertisement", which this does, but only in relatively small black lettering, compared with the rather loud and colourful text elsewhere.
  Although this is presented as a news item, there is no reliable reference on it as to the date of the claim. It does state "this week", but when was the advert written we wonder?
  

• A Local Couple
  Local to where? As this is a travelling "roadshow", it could have be local to anywhere in the UK.

• Couple Receive Cash Award...
  No they did not receive a cash award, they sold something they owned.

• Due to Public Demand
  This is pure Barnum and Bailey!

• Prices
  "We will pay upto (sic) £200 per troy oz 9ct Gold. We will pay upto (sic) £400 per tro (sic) oz 18ct gold"
  Although these prices are quite respectable, they do say "up to", which makes us suspect that their actual buying prices are much lower.

• Spelling Errors
  We may be being somewhat pedantic and elitist, but we believe that old-fashioned values such as good spelling are important, and this advert is riddled with errors.
• Free Valuation Service
  We very much doubt that you will get a "free valuation", what you will get is an offer to buy. The two things are completely different. In any case, a "free" valuation is probably worth what you pay for it - nothing!

• A Professional Jeweller
  Not very professional at all, judging by the headline error about the gold price, let alone looking at the whole market-trader tone of the advert.
