Day after day, dishonest, lazy eBay members, some dealers, some PowerSellers, use our high quality coin photographs without our permission, and in breach of our Intellectual Property Rights (copyright). They use these images to compete with us. We believe honest eBay members should avoid doing business with these dishonest sellers.
As part of our effort to deter future infringements by the same or other eBay members, we have started to "Name and Shame" some of them.
When we revised this page in August 2009, superiorcoinsuk had increased its feedback to 3,315; and this was 99.2% positive.

What, one who steals other people's images?
Also, there is an implication that the coin being offered for sale is the one in the photographs, which it clearly is not. This is misrepresenting the goods on offer, and deceiving their potential customers.

Actually, according to eBay your Positive Feedback is only 99.1%.
What about the 14 Negatives, and 24 Neutrals? It seems rather dishonest to claim 100% feedback!
Experts?
When we took a note of this dealer's listing with its pirated images, we realised we had seen their name before. They appear to make quite a habit of misdescribing medals or medallions as coins. There is considerable and important difference, but we notice many small eBay traders using similar misdescriptions all the time, and eBay don't appear to care, after all , they are getting fees from this stuff.
Power Sellers - Pillars of the eBay Community?
According to eBay, PowerSellers are "the pillars of our community, PowerSellers are committed to upholding and embracing the core community values that are the very foundation of eBay. They are exemplary members who are held to the highest standards of professionalism..."
Makes you wonder what they rest of them are like!
We see many so called PowerSellers selling crap day after day, with descriptions which can only be considered as deliberately misleading.
