New Recut Reverse Dies
On this page, we show actual photographs of 2009, 2008, and 2007 sovereign reverses.
We will add further comments here soon.

We expect to have both the uncirculated and the proof versions in stock during early January 2009 for immediate delivery.
We expect next year's - 2009 - sovereigns and half sovereigns to have the familiar and historic St. George and Dragon reverse, although we still have stocks of the 2008 issue.

Changes!
The reverse dies for sovereigns, half sovereigns, double sovereigns and quintuple sovereigns were remastered and recut in 2007. See our 2007 sovereigns page of our Gold Sovereigns website for more information. The 2009 designs are expected to be similar.
