1998 ECB Bimetallic Gold & Silver Medallion
Issued by The Austrian Mint.
Description
The medallion is bimetallic, having a centre of 18 carat gold, with an outer ring of sterling (.925) silver.
Obverse
The central gold disc contains a € (euro symbol), with the initials ECB. EZB. EKT. EKP. BCE arranged around it.
The silver outer ring bears the names of the member banks, arranged in five concentric circles, from the outer ring:
