It comes inside a presentation pouch and with a certificate of guarantee. The medallion is hallmarked 18 carat gold.
The Capture of Rome took place on the 20th September, 1870. It was the last event before the unification of Italy.
Description
The obverse features the words "1870-1970 Primo Centerario Di Roma Capitale D'Italia".
The reverse says "Porta Pia 20 Settembre 1870".
