The medallion we feature on this page is the official medallion, struck by the Royal Mint.
The coin has been struck in high relief and was engraved the Chief Engraver at the Royal Mint, Benedetto Pistrucci.
Obverse
The obverse features Victoria facing left, with the inscription:

Reverse
The reverse features Victoria seated left, with lion behind her to right, receiving crown from Britannia, Scotia and Hibernia,with the inscription:
